Education Background: Bachelor of Arts in Music and Christian Studies from Union University (Jackson, Tennessee); Master of Arts in Christian Education from the School of Leadership and Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, Kentucky).

Vocational Church Background: Music and Youth at West Shiloh Baptist Church, Stantonville, TN, 1988-1991 • Music and Youth at First Baptist Church, Livingston, TN, 1991-1997 • Music & Administration at Rocky Hill Baptist Church, Knoxville, TN; 1998-2003.

My family: My witty wife, Donna; and my charming son, Joshua.

My role at PHBC: I lead out in the areas of Music & Administration. I strive to create the elements that go into our blended Sunday morning worship services. I also work  through music with our youth and cooperate with other leaders in the graded children’s choir. 

For the administration, I supervise the daily office operations of the church, facilities and employees.

My hobbies: Learning different computer skills, spending time with my family, love to travel and landscaping.

The smartest thing I’ve done: Calling Donna for the first time and saying, hello. The other thing would be –staying out of debt.

The dumbest thing I’ve ever done: At a pool-side social, I pushed in an adult choir member -- I didn’t know she couldn’t swim!! 

The best way to pray for me: Please pray that my work would always be empowered by the Holy Spirit.
