My Family: My wife Susan and my three children, Casey, Samantha, and Reed.

My role at PHBC: Associate Pastor/Children’s Minister

Personal Story: I accepted Christ when I was eight years old. Ever since, my relationship with God has been an amazing journey. God has allowed me to be involved in so many adventures and has blessed me greatly.

My call to ministry: I accepted the call to ministry when I was a senior in college. I originally felt my call was in the music ministry so I studied music education in college to prepare me for the call. Twenty years later I am a music teacher and a children’s minister!

Spiritual Gifts: Pastor/Shepherd and Exhortation

I started serving at PHBC: May 15, 2009.

Most fulfilling part of my work: Seeing a child walk the aisle to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Recent books I have enjoyed: Get Up Off Your Knees, Preaching The U2 Catalog

Favorite book of the Bible: Philippians

My hobbies: Music (I’m a huge U2 fan), Hockey (Go Preds!) and NASCAR (Go #88!).

I hope heaven includes: A Chick Fil A and a Starbucks.

The smartest things I have done: Accepting the call to serve in Death Valley and marrying my wife.

The dumbest thing I have ever done: Asking a woman when she was having her baby (she had the baby two months before).

If I could live in any point in history: First would be now. Second would be the sixties. I always wondered what I would look like as a hippie.

The best way to pray for me: That I would keep my priorities in order.
